Buckler’s Hard has been featured in Phil Spencer’s new series, the History of Britain in 100 Homes.
In the second episode on More 4, Phil uncovered the story of homes in the 16th and 17th centuries – from lavish properties to revolutionary social housing. The programme’s film crew took a closer look at the preserved shipwrights’ and labourers’ cottages and how the village evolved into a thriving centre for shipbuilding.
