Buckler's Hard village is free to enter. For those arriving by vehicle, a parking charge applies, which helps us maintain this heritage site. If you wish to explore the Maritime Museum or River Cruise, a small admission charge applies.
Our outdoor spaces are now open for visitors to explore. Our indoor spaces, including the Maritime Museum and the River Cruise, will reopen from 17 May.
The grounds of Buckler's Hard village, Shipwright's Cottage, St Mary's Chapel, Captain's Cabin Tea Rooms and Master Builder's House Hotel are free for everyone to visit.
To enhance your visit and learn more about the special heritage of Buckler's Hard, you have the option to pay a small admission charge to explore the Maritime Museum or enjoy the River Cruise.
The parking charge is £5 for up to 3 hours and £7.50 for over 3 hours. This will be charged on arrival and we ask that you use contactless payment where you can.
Last entry to the car park is 5pm with the gates closing at 8pm.
ANNUAL parking PASS
Regular visitors can make great savings with our annual parking pass. Pass holders also receive discounted entry to the Maritime Museum.
Please enjoy our spaces in accordance with the Government guidance 'Roadmap out of lockdown'. Until 16 May, outdoor gatherings of either 6 people or 2 households are allowed. From 17 May, legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors will be lifted - although gatherings of over 30 people will remain illegal. Within our indoor areas, the rule of 6 or 2 households will apply.
Maritime Museum Tickets - Buy in advance to save
We request that admission tickets are purchased before arrival. This will speed up your entry and allow us to capture contact details in accordance with the Government guidance for assisting the NHS Track & Trace programme. We are happy to accept walk-up visitors, subject to capacity, however you will be asked to either scan the NHS Track & Trace QR code or complete a form to provide your contact details.
Purchase your tickets online at least one day in advance (prior to midnight on the day before you visit) to receive our advance discount.
Your e-ticket is valid for one visit in the twelve months from the valid from date.
Your ticket will be sent via email. You can either print the e-ticket, show it on your phone or quote the reference number upon arrival.
If more than one person is covered by your ticket purchase, you will need to arrive together.

Order your tickets online to send an e-ticket directly to the recipient. Tick ‘add a gift message to your order' when you enter your billing address to nominate the name and email address of the person you would like to send your gift to.
