See the past come alive at Buckler's Hard this May half-term, including a special weekend event to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

Join us for an action-packed start to May half-term with a special weekend event (25 & 26 May) including a model re-enactment of the Normandy landings and tours about harbour defence motor launch HMS Medusa.

Then join us throughout the rest of the May half-term for even more fun activities.

Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team at May half-term

D-Day Re-enactment

At 2.30pm on both days, watch a unique performance from the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team as model tanks storm a 45 square foot replica of a Normandy village.

Listen to commentary as the historic events unfold throughout the display - it's not to be missed!

HMS Medusa at Buckler's Hard

HMS Medusa Tours

Join us on both days for a chance to step aboard harbour defence motor launch HMS Medusa, which helped to clear the way to Omaha Beach for D-Day and has more recently starred in Kenneth Branagh's Dunkirk movie.

HMS Medusa will be open for tours on Saturday 25th (10am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm) and Sunday 26th (10am - 1pm & 2pm - 4pm).

Voluntary donations to The Medusa Trust will be gratefully received.
