Beaulieu River Cruises - 30 minutes
This cruise wends its way along the river with a commentary revealing the history of Beaulieu River and the abundant wildlife that inhabits its riverbanks. Cruises operate between Easter and the end of October.
Heart of Oak Themed Tour - 1 hour
Take a trip to the 1790s and meet an inhabitant of Buckler's Hard who tells of the life in the village. Learn about the building of warships for Nelson's fleet, so large they put the village in shadow. Hear about the Agamemnon, Nelson's favourite ship and discover other key events in the shipbuilding history of the village.
*NEW* It’s a ‘Hard’ Life - 1hour
Journey back to the late 18th Century with one of the inhabitants of Buckler’s Hard and hear about their daily life. Learn about the origins of some of our well loved nautical sayings such as “money for old rope” and discover how the workforce of this tranquil village helped to shape our Maritime History as they built, among others, HMS Euryalus, and the supporting role their wives played.
Group admission rates
Admission includes entrance to the Maritime Museum and Buckler’s Hard Story and all day car parking. Group rate apply to 15 or more people. The Heart of Oak and It's a 'Hard Life' themed tour costs £28 per group, up to a maximum of 20 people or part thereof.
