Regulations

The master of vessels arriving inside the limits of the River are expected to report to the Harbourmaster within 24 hours. Passenger vessels must obtain prior permission for landing from the Harbourmaster. Visitors are welcome to enter the marina at any time, day or night. The marina is manned 0800-2100 in summer; 0800-1800 (weekends in winter 0900-1800) in winter. The marina is dredged to 6' below mean low water springs.

Speed limit 5 knots.
Craft with animals from abroad are prohibited in the river.
No jet ski-ing, water ski-ing or board sailing.
No underwater diving activities.
No anchoring 1 mile either side of Buckler's Hard.
No mooring onto navigation buoys, beacons or marks.
Keep to starboard side of Fairway.
Mind your wash.

Owners of craft must inform the Harbourmaster of arrangements made during their absence for the care of their boats. Beaulieu River Management Ltd cannot accept responsibility for the safety of any untended boats. The company may at its discretion and at the cost of the owner, move, re-secure or otherwise deal with the craft without liability for any damage caused thereby to any craft in the River.
